The Hollywoodbets Dolphins secured a narrow three-run win against Momentum Multiply Titans at the Hollywoodbets Kingsmead on Wednesday.
Titans opted to field first as the hosts ended the innings on 127/6 in their allotted 20 overs.
David Wiese’s five-wicket haul of 5/29 in four overs led the attack for the Titans. Jason Smith top scored with an unbeaten 28*, with Khaya Zondo and Bradley Porteous also in the twenties with 21 runs each.
Dolphins' Bowling attack was also as clinical, restricting Titans to 74/5 before players were called off due to bad weather. Players returned to the field with a revised target of 104, with the visitors needing 30 runs from two overs and Dolphins eventually clinched a narrow win.
Skipper, Prenelan Subrayen and Jon-Jon Smuts returned two scalps each for the hosts.
Momentum Multiply Titans vs Gbets Rocks - SuperSport Park, Centurion
Sibonelo Makhanya continued his recent good form with an unbeaten half century to help his side Titans cruise to a bonus-point win over Gbets Rocks.
The victory was set up by the bowlers, though, who help bowl out the away team for 122 after they won the toss and elected to field first. Veteran all-rounder David Wiese led the way with miserly figures of 3-1-9-2, while there were also doubles by Lungi Ngidi (2/19) and Junior Dala (2/32).
Wicketkeeper Clyde Fortuin top-scored with 45 off 24 balls as everyone else struggled in his side at SuperSport Park. Makhanya, aided by Lhuan-dre Pretorius and Dayyaan Galiem (both 29), then 50* off 25 balls (4 fours, 4 sixes) to help overhaul the target in just 13 overs.
Momentum Multiply Titans vs AET Tuskers - SuperSport Park, Centurion

Arguably the performance of the day came on the Highveld where the defending champions chased down 142 in just 12.3 overs with right-handed opener Moonsamy in destructive form.
The 27-year-old thrashed five sixes and 11 fours in an incredible 41-ball spectacle, almost single-handedly taking side to a bonus point win. This after the Titans’ bowlers dismissed their KwaZulu-Natal opponents, who were asked to bat first, for 141 in 19.4 overs.
Veteran Wiese was the pick of the bowlers with 3/21, including a maiden, with Galiem bagging 3/24. In fact, all the bowlers shone – Lungi Ngidi took 2/12 in 3 overs and Corbin Bosch nabbed 2/20 – to seal a result that moved the home side above World Sports Betting Western Province in fourth place.
